This Silver Stanwell estate pipe still has its original stem with the logo well intact as seen in the pictures. Before arriving into our care, the stem was filed back from the face creating a much shorter mouth piece with a new slot shaped in. We can only guess if this design was meant to alter a P-Lip or simply shorten the pipe, but a new saddled stem from our workshop has been included to capture the original proportions of the pipe. The stummel is in excellent condition with a clean rim and chamber and a fantastic grouping of cross-grain birdseye to tease the eye. English, Balkan, and Lakeland enthusiasts will enjoy a wide and deep chamber regardless of which stem they choose to smoke with.
