Made from bog oak, semi-petrified oak that was a living tree more than 3 millennia ago, this morta bent apple from American pipe maker, Ron Smith is finished smooth, though it still displays an intricate grain pattern inherent to the material. The finish tricks the eye and the color and darkness of the pipe shift as it turns in the light. Trimmed with a bright band of acrylic and given a reflective stem as well, this American handmade has a little bit of flash and a lot of substance with a well drilled chamber wide enough to take a straight English or Balkan blend.
