David Huber Pipe Smooth Blowfish

The lines, seams, and curves of this scaled blowfish from David Huber of DSH pipes are nothing short of hypnotizing when examined.  The lack of symmetry pulls the eye into a kind of pace and rhythm as the high contrast finished briar is taken in one piece of comprehension at a time, resulting in a theme of motion and movement.  Of particular note is the sculpted crown of the stem - molten and organic, as if it grew directly out of the briar itself.  Just one more sound argument proving David is in fact a sculptor who just happens to make great smoking pipes as his medium.
