Richly finished with a high contrast and auburn hued straight grain orientation that wraps around the entire stummel, this tremendously beautiful piece from Alexander Sokolik is a juggernaut of detail.  The slightly rounded panels on each side of the shank give this stout piece a degree of litheness not easy to achieve.  With a wonderfully rounded rim, showcasing no small amount of birdseye, the top of the bowl domes to a perfect bevel - not too little and not too much.  A museum quality piece destined to be a treasured heirloom for many generations.
